THE BAR
You will notice at the bottom of any article page a bar pops up. This bar allows you to do quite a few things. (1) like or share via facebook (2) Digg (3) Stumble Upon (4) Receive Recommendations via our facebook page (5) View our twitter feed. But the fun doesn't end there! with this bar you can also chat with friends via Facebook, AIM, Google Chat or Windows Live. So while you are bumming around our site you can still talk to your friends without going back and forth between sites. Jan 14th | I'm Back and in need
For those of you who didn't know I, Bryce Cooley, just got married to my lovely wife Bethany (Broughton) Cooley. Because of this I have been gone for almost a full month and Pam, Joshua and Brian have been keeping the site up to date. First off thank you guys for all your effort. It means the world to me and I am thankful to have staff that are so dedicated and helpful.
This brings me to the second order of business, we need more staff like these guys. Rather then re-inventing the wheel I will re-post news from awhile back. Here is what we are looking for.

Dec 8th | We need bands!
Hey we need bands for a few things.
(1) For CD reviews. The only CDs we won't review are garage style recordings. If you have put time into a recording, you have CD artwork etc. It is likely we will review it. Submit yourself to our band lists and shoot us an e-mail with a link to your CD.
(2) For the Podcast. We are going to put together a podcast and we need music to play in the podcast. interested? E-mail Bryce through the contact page.
(3) For the Bandlist - Know bands? In a band? Go here http://www.christcore.net/submission.php submit your band or friends bands. Don't leave any of the comparison information blank.

Dec 8th | Whats been going on
Hey guys. There have been updates being made but a lot of them are backend stuff, making the admin panel better, getting the news feed to be self-updatable, etc. If you ever notice any problems with the site please let me know. We are going to do a complete overhaul on the mobile site pretty soon to make it easier to navigate. We will let you know when that is done, the mobile site has been a lot of fun to get going but challenging!

Nov 28th | Podcasts, Mobile Sites and Ads Oh my!
PODCASTS
We are getting pretty close to launching the ChristCore Podcast which will be available via iTunes and the the website. The Podcast will start off pretty small and will grow as needed. Currently the podcast will contain: devotional thoughts, artist interviews, music previews of artists, interesting news if artists allow perhaps a full song or rare b-side for download. I hope to use this to expand the fanbase for ChristCore and make it a little more personal of an experience.

This is not as exciting as I made it out to be. But it may be useful to you so bare with me. We are getting our site optimized as much as possible and figuring out how to get information out to you in the most streamline way possible. RSS has been really helpful in that and so I want to give you our updated links to all of our RSS feeds.

In a band? Want your CD to be reviewed. Here is the two step process you can go through.
(1) Go to http://www.christcore.net/reviews.php click "SUGGEST A CD TO BE REVIEWED" submit yourself.
(2) Send a digital version of your CD through the free service at https://www.yousendit.com/ to christcorenet [at] gmail.com. Be sure to include (a bio, statement of faith, high resolution album artwork, all tracks in mp3 form and any other information you find important.)
An optional step is
(3) Submit your band to be listed on our extensive band lists. http://www.christcore.net/submissions.php

If you visit ChristCore.net on your mobile device you should automatically be redirected to our mobile site. So if you type in www.christcore.net you should end up at www.christcore.net/m . I am still trying to work out some kinks in the code. Here is where you come in! Can you please visit ChristCore.net on your phone, ipad, ipod etc and let us know your results. If it works great! if it doesn't work please tell us what phone, operating system and browser you tried visiting the site on. We will do everything we can to get it working for you!

One thing some people may not know is that ChristCore.net has a mobile version of the site. http://www.christcore.net/m. Here you can keep up to date on Music / Site News, Devotions, Interviews and coming very soon CD reviews. It is quick loading and easy to read on small mobile devices so we hope this helps! We want to bridge the gap and get on android / iphone apps so if any of you know how to make that a reality let me know through the contact page.
A FEW UPDATES ARE:
- Facebook Like boxes on individual article pages in the top right corner, so if you like a devotional be sure to let people know!

We are still looking for writers and editors to help with the upcoming content on ChristCore. All positions are unpaid.
REVIEWERS - If you enjoy telling people about music they should hear and have a passion for writing this is the job for you. We ask that you submit at least 1 review a week but do not hold yourself to only one. Sometimes you will do reviews assigned to you sometimes it's your choice. In your reviews whether you like the cd or not we ask that your remarks would remain constructive in their criticism so as not to tear down someones ministry. If you have questions on that please ask.
INTERVIEWS- Good with questions? Like hearing the stories behind the bands? This is the job for you. You have free reign on who you interview.
