Window To The Inner Court

This Cd has become one of my favorite Worship CDs. Shane Everett for those who do not know is part of Waiting Room Ministries (Shane Barnard). When I found out he had his own CD I had to get it, and I am glad I did. The CD is simply a combination of worship songs such as We Are Hungry” “Exalt the Lord” “Holy and Anointed One” etc. The great thing about this Cd is the atomosphere it brings. I heard once in a recording studio techniques class that the key to good music is “intimacy” something that makes the listener feel like they are right next the singer. In this case you are right next to the singer worshipping God along with him.

One thing I loved about this CD is the seemlessness it has throughout. Instead of beginning and ending the songs with a fadeout the songs meld together. So unlike listening to a worship CD it is more like you are at a worship service. The melody’s and passion behind the vocalists heart is evident wanting to draw nearer to the heart of God.

What else can I say if you want a good worship disc definatley check this one out.

I've been doing some form of ministry since 2000. For 13 years I was involved in the youth ministry at Cordova Neighborhood Church as everything from youth intern to youth pastor. God has led me and my lovely wife Bethany to Church of the Foothills where I currently reside as the Digital Publishing Coordinator. I'm excited to see where God leads my wife and I.
