Turn it Around

I Don’t know what it is about this CD but I love it. At first I wasn’t really sure I enjoyed it, but once I opened up my mind and gave it a chance I couldn’t put it down. The style almost seems similar to Stretch Arm Strong meets Figure Four which is fitting because the band includes members from FF.

The style definatley has some punk influence, but also many hardcore aspects to it.The vocals are very unique (something not found in many bands now a days), its more a yell than a scream, and is compliment very much by the gang vocals. The gang vocals on this record remind me of the tough guy stylings of figure four, and hatebreed. Many of the songs have hardcore breakdowns that you do not really expect because of their somewhat predominantly punk style. Unexpected or not, they fit them in perfectly. What good would a Facedown Release be if it didn’t make your body convulse all over the dance floor. I would say my favorite track at the moment is Facing Change” the breakdown in that song is freakin rad. Give this CD a listen you have to really listen to find out how good this CD actually is. If at first you Don’t succeed try and try again you will eventually understand.
