These Shattered Lives

Sick of Change is probably one of the BEST pure Christian Punk bands that ever played. These Shattered Lives” is a personal favorite. Every song on the album has a true spiritual meaning. I have been listening to this album for one year straight. Sick of Change pounds rocks and has backup vocals that are amazing. “These Shattered Lives” offers 12 awesome songs.

The album starts of with a prayer (They did this with their first release also) “We are blameworthy so hold us to our wrongs. But we are humans so do no hold our wrongs against us. Let our thoughts concede. Let the music play. Let the our work touch lives and these lives touch the world. Let the music play let it play…”

Every song has a unique blend of guitars drums bass and vocals that are unlike any other band. If I have to compare these guys they are a mix between Dogwood and Watashi Wa. It is impossible to to pick the best songs on the album. They are all awesome.

If you want an album that will bring you closer to the Lord and will stay in your CD player pick this up. CHRISTIAN PUNK AT THE BEST

Sick of Change broke up last summer. They received another calling from God. Sick of Change will never be forgotten.

I've been doing some form of ministry since 2000. For 13 years I was involved in the youth ministry at Cordova Neighborhood Church as everything from youth intern to youth pastor. God has led me and my lovely wife Bethany to Church of the Foothills where I currently reside as the Digital Publishing Coordinator. I'm excited to see where God leads my wife and I.
