The Swift

INGREDIENTS FOR GOOD FUN

2 cups Ben Folds Five
1/2 cup Weezer
a pinch of Queen and Pink Floyd
and a dash of Happy Days

bake for 10 minutes and you got the Swift. Their first release on Flicker Records, is packed with great songs filled with joy, worship and fun.

From the moment the CD starts you cannot help but love the Piano driven rock coming from your speakers. The upbeat, uptempo, and uplifting songs bring a smile to your face whether you like it or not. They have a very interesting way of getting their message across through clever lyrics, piano rolls, and on occasion random fits of screaming.

Some chorus have the epic sound to them where you almost think you put in Weezer Pinkerton” album and turned to “El Scorcho” this CD is a great buy fans of hardcore maybe a little dissapointed especially at the song “moshing machine.” Not an anti-moshing song but a song that encourages to mosh with awareness of those around you (a very entertaining song).

Check out this CD and support them whenever they come through your town.!

I've been doing some form of ministry since 2000. For 13 years I was involved in the youth ministry at Cordova Neighborhood Church as everything from youth intern to youth pastor. God has led me and my lovely wife Bethany to Church of the Foothills where I currently reside as the Digital Publishing Coordinator. I'm excited to see where God leads my wife and I.
