Silence

Though it seems dumb to write a review of a CD that came out quite a while ago, I Don’t mind looking dumb! Blindside has been a major part in my life and I feel obligated to show a little love to them. To be honest when I first heard this CD I was kinda dissapointed. I was so used to their sophmore release A Thought Crushed My Mind” that this was caught me off guard. The difference is like the difference between night and day.

As I listened to this CD more and more I realized how much Blindside had improved in song writing vocally and all together tightness. This quartet from Sweden definatley knows how to deliver an outstanding CD. Some might say the CD is to “MTV friendly” but I say PRAISE THE LORD! Yet another band that can reach the lost!

This CD has a wide assortment of sounds and would appeal to fans of POD The Used Thursday Underoath (not to say they sound the same) but most fans of those artists also enjoy blindside if they have heard them. Don’t take my word for it though GO OUT AND BUY IT FOR YOURSELF!

Some of my favorite tracks include of course the obvious “Pitiful” “Sleepwalking” and the awesome finishing track “Silence.” To me this song was the greatest finisher though not at all what I was expecting it definatley brought the CD to a close. The honesty and genuine love for God is evident in that song and will touch your heart.

This CD is rad definatley get it do not forget to get their old stuff as well “self-titled” and “A thought Crushed my Mind
