Say it Again

A lot of people may be wondering what a review of the newest Stacie Orrico CD is doing on a so-called Hardcore” site. Well let me tell you. I have heard quite a lot of trash talked about this girl simply because she has decided to sign to a “secular label” HOW COULD SHE!!! Personally it really bothers me people say she is “compromising” to much etc. I think it sucks that people are so judgmental. She is doing what WE are called to do going out into the world and telling people about Jesus we could all learn something from this girl. Another thing if I was this on fire for God at the age of 16 who knows what God could have done through me so pray Don’t bash.

Onto the CD review sorry I had to get that off my heart. This CD was surprisingly very good. Granted in order to listen to it you have to have an open mind (DARE I SAY!). But if you like this style of music R and B Soul Pop than this is a great disc. The songs are from the heart of a 16 year old girl learning to deal with lifes hardships struggles and victories. This CD will stand up against other pop greats such as Destiny’s Child Christina Aguilera Out of Eden etc. If you or anyone you know likes that style get them this CD there is a wide mix of styles from slow piano driven ballads fast spanish guitar driven beats and good old grooves to make yo booty shake.

This CD is very heartfelt and for that reason I give it 2 big thumbs up!

I've been doing some form of ministry since 2000. For 13 years I was involved in the youth ministry at Cordova Neighborhood Church as everything from youth intern to youth pastor. God has led me and my lovely wife Bethany to Church of the Foothills where I currently reside as the Digital Publishing Coordinator. I'm excited to see where God leads my wife and I.
