Instrumental indie rock has been becoming a more recognized trait in bands. One of the best bands that exhibit this style is Across Waters. Their album More Light is Never Ending is a great example of how creative bands that pursue this genre can be. Their style is similar to This Patch of Sky and Shekinah. The album is based off on the beginning of Genesis. It is very deep and immerses people into the story of the start of Earth. MLiNE is a long listen but well worth taking the time to give it an ear. Sometimes it lags, but for the most part it keeps the listener’s attention. It will be interesting to see where Across Waters goes from here. I think it can only be up.
