Lonely Superstar

You know I used to really not like Playdough. I heard him in Ill Harmonics and I never really thought much of him. To me Hip Hop was more about the beats, and Ill harmonics beats were weak” compared to what I was used to. But things have changed for me.

My views on Hip Hop have changed and with changed views comes a new appreciation for Playdough’s work. The sound is much more “real instrument” sounding than your normal mainstream hip hop today. Acts like Nelly Eminem etc. There is definatley more of a realness to this CD. I have learned to focus more on the vocal delivery and style and Playdough definatley has a unique sound. Though because he is a white guy doing rap he will most likely be compared to Eminem John Reuben KJ-52 (though their are some similarities) Playdough can definatley hold his own.

His songs offer a wide arrange of moods to laid back hip hop to party GET OFF YO BUTT AND START DANCING hip hop. This disc is a great buy and will definatley appeal to fans of Rockstar Eminem Tunnnel Rats and other hip hop acts of the like. Definatley check out this album.

I've been doing some form of ministry since 2000. For 13 years I was involved in the youth ministry at Cordova Neighborhood Church as everything from youth intern to youth pastor. God has led me and my lovely wife Bethany to Church of the Foothills where I currently reside as the Digital Publishing Coordinator. I'm excited to see where God leads my wife and I.
