Hi-Fi Revival

What can I say about the first Christian band I ever liked? Hmmmm, let me think I LOVE THEM, The Supertones have re-invented themselves once again. This time into a much more abrasive sound, less rap ska” than the last CD almost a little more like the Mighty Mighty Bosstones.

This CD is jam packed with a lot more Energy than their last CD. The new guitar player definatley had a lot to do with that I am sure. The CD starts off with a very entertaining shout out track just letting us know that they haven’t gone anywhere (like we were worried.) I was suprised their was only one slow worshipful song all the other songs definatley have a challenging worshipful message just not slow. One thing you always have to love about the Supertones is their lyrics with their challenging truthful lyrics. Track 13 for me is definatley one of the most entertaining tracks about the entertainment industry. The chorus says “Cuz all day long I hear the same five songs and the words go BLAH BLAH BLAH” I could not have explained it better. Track 5 is definatley a good one just imagine the song “my sharona” with a little supertones flare not convinced well I Don’t know what else to say so tough..

if you are a fan of the Supertones then check out this album. It is a total improvement from their last CD.
