Enter the Worship Circle Vol. 2

This is one of my favorite worship CD’s. I picked it up by chance in the used section at the Christian book store I work at and took it home.

At first I was a little let down because it is pretty poor production, musicianship etc. But as far as following the Holy Spirit in very passionate worship it is amazing. The best word I can think of to describe the sound is organic” not meaning it sounds like a tree or food you can get over at Trader Joe’s. When you hear this first off you get the feeling that you are there with them in deep worship. I just get the picture of a bunch of people sitting on a couch or on the floor on a stool and just singing their heart out to God. It would be the equivelant to campfire worship. A favorite song of mine “I Could Run Away” speaks of all the times we run away from God and how he is faithful regardless he is always there right by our side. Another song which was made popular by Third Day but I like this version better is “You Are so Good to Me” with the powerful chorus proclaiming “You are Beautiful my sweet sweet song”. How often do we tell God how beautiful and amazing he is not enough in my opinion I can only speak for myself though. This CD touches on many aspects of my life personally my need for God my pride my struggles my feelings of loneliness and gives me hope. First off because I know other people deal with these things I am not alone in that way. But also reminding me of God’s faithfulness in all situations.

This CD is a worship experience and I would like to say thanks to my friend that told me to listen to it about 6 years ago 5 years later I finally got around to it thanks for the great advice it has blessed me a lot! Three of my favorite tracks are “Your Are so Good to Me” “You Have Redeemed my Soul” and “Put in Me”. This CD is sure to bless you and give you a great time of worshipping our father who deserves are all every minute of every day.

I've been doing some form of ministry since 2000. For 13 years I was involved in the youth ministry at Cordova Neighborhood Church as everything from youth intern to youth pastor. God has led me and my lovely wife Bethany to Church of the Foothills where I currently reside as the Digital Publishing Coordinator. I'm excited to see where God leads my wife and I.
