It seems like there is just an over flow of post-hardcore bands nowadays. Caldwell, is one of those post-hardcore bands, BUT they play it well.
The singer has a good voice, which he uses a lot. Plenty of catchy tunes to sing along with and of course, it wouldn’t be complete without breakdowns. Fortunately the breakdowns aren’t typical, they have some creativeness to them. The guitar are always playing neato riffs. The way to describe this cd would be catchy, and every instrument follows that pattern. What really gets me with this album is a intermission track, on a 9 track cd. The intermission track is some Lincoln Park techno beat that has completely nothing to do with the rest of the album.
Bottom Line: This is great catchy post-hardcore, short but sweet.
