two lefts don’t make a right…but three do

I may be biased on this review so please forgive me. Since the infamous song My Girlfriend” Relient K has been one of my favorite cheesy pop punk bands NO DOUBT ABOUT THAT!!! Without even listening to this CD this CD can entertain you. First off it has 4 different colors all involving some form of animated car crash I Don’t know the point but the artwork looks cool. The CD is enhanced and once you put in a little information you can go online to watch the Relient K in there 8 part mini series “Where Buffalo and Cell Phones Roam”. Another random thing about the CD is the lack of #13 on the song list on the back it took me awhile to realize it wasn’t there but hey i’m slow give me a break.

Ok so enough meaningless banter on to the review. Track no. 1 I honestly do not know what the title “Chapstick Chapped Lips and things Like Chemistry” has to do with the song it is still a fun catchy song so I Don’t really care just an observation. The second song “Mood Rings” is one of my favorites
in my opinion any song that can fit the phrase “may understand the complex infrastructure known as the female mind” in it is a good one. The CD is full of the fun songs people have come to love relient K for along with the serious worship songs. One more featured track is “Gibberish” where each verse is full of exactly that (gibberish) I cannot pick out even one real word but hey thats why I love these guys they are probably just as dorky as me.

If you do not have this CD yet and you like fun light hearted pop punk you need this album and go see them when they come to your town.
