Hypothesis Theory

Justin: alright
Bryce: so whats up who am I speaking with?
Justin: This is Justin Wisner. I’m the drummer/lead screamer for Hypothesis Thoery

Bryce: sweet where are you guys from and whos in the band?
Justin: i’m from Hinsdale Mass. the other 2 guys are from Pittsfield Mass. they are Kevin Vincent-guitar/leadvocals/bass and Kevin Dennis-guitar

Bryce: cool how long have you guys been around? hows the scene in massachussetes?
Justin: Well Kevin Vincent and I had been talking about starting another band when I joined our youth group worship team (called Three Times) which both Kevin Vincent and Kevin Dennis are in. Then when during April break we went into a studio and recorded some stuff thats when the band started. As for as a scene in Massachussetes there isn’t much of one but Superchic[k] and 24 Idaho have played in our home town.

Bryce: hehhe nice. What is the idea behind “hypothesis theory”?
Justin: uh… well. I was doing science one day (i’m a home school kid) and some how the word ‘hypothesis’ was in it i thought it was a cool word and looked it up i found out it pretty much ment ”theory’ and i thought Hypothesis Theory would be a cool name. There’s not really much of a point to it yet but maybe some day we can think of one.
Bryce: ok sounds good

Bryce: Are you guys doing any touring this summer or just some at home shows?
Justin: well Kevin Dennis is working at a camp in our town all summer long. In the fall we mite play at our youth group a bit and a guy at our youth group is friends with a promoter in our town who is trying to bring in some cool bands we hope we can open some shows. This summer thought we’re pretty much just leading worship at youth group with Three Times. hopefully we can do some real touring next summer.

Bryce: any bands you would like to go touring with?
Justin: oh my yeah. We love The Juliana Theory and Further Seems Forever and a lot of other bands (too many to name). I’d like to tour with almost any good band. But i tihkn it would be cool to do a indie tour with 24 Idaho!
Bryce: good band from what I hear.

Bryce: So your sound is similar to?
Justin: well we don’t really stick to one style cause we like too many. I’d say for now we have some stuff that sounds like Thursday The Juliana Theory The Get Up Kids Officer Negative Dashbaord Confessional and Hopesfall.
Bryce: interesting mix I will enjoy it.

Bryce: How can people that read this get involved and help you guys out?
Justin: Well we like it when people go to our web site www.hypothesistheory.com. I’m hopeing to get one of our songs on Radio U pretty soon too. If I can get it on it would be great if people called and asked to hear it. And if people want to tell everyone they know about us that can’t hurt
Bryce: that definatley cannot hurt.
Bryce: Well God willing this interview will help get the word out about you. Do you have downloadable MP3’s on your site or mp3.com?
Justin: no not yet I’m going to be putting a mp3 of one of our songs up on our web site soon (hopefully within 3 weeks)
Bryce: ok cool hear that all? check back their site in about 3 weeks. Well man I gotta bounce thanks for the oppurtunity for the interview.

Bryce: Before I go is there anything we can be praying for you about?
Justin: uhhh just that we can find the time to get our ep finished and that we keep doing our best to serve Christ everyday.
Justin: thanks!
Bryce: great goal we will be praying thanks again. God Bless!
Justin: thanks you too.
