I believe in God.. that’s good, right?

I will admit that is a start. But, where is the faith? I could look at a chair and say I believe that chair will hold me up if I sit in it, but if I never put action along with that faith, and try sitting down, how am I showing the faith? Same goes with God. I could say I believe in God all I want, but if I never put action to follow Him, what is that worth? “Faith without works is like a screendoor on a submarine.” – Rich Mullins

“You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that– and they shudder.”

James 2:19

In other words, simply believing in God is not enough because even Satan believes in God. Faith in God, and acceptance of His gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, is what is necessary.

I've been doing some form of ministry since 2000. For 13 years I was involved in the youth ministry at Cordova Neighborhood Church as everything from youth intern to youth pastor. God has led me and my lovely wife Bethany to Church of the Foothills where I currently reside as the Digital Publishing Coordinator. I'm excited to see where God leads my wife and I.
