In other news, it has been revealed the Mark Hamill (Star Wars) will be reprising his role as the iconic Trickster character he portrayed in the 90s TV series. He will be reunited with the original Flash actor John Wesley Shipp, who currently plays Barry Allen’s imprisoned father. The episode with Mark Hamill won’t air until the beginning of 2015 but fans of the show (and Star Wars) should be excited to see him reprising his role as The Trickster. Here’s how The CW describes the character:
In this new iteration, The Trickster is an anarchist terrorist con man serving a life sentence in Iron Heights who helps Barry (Grant Gustin) and Det. West (Jesse L. Martin) to foil the city-wide attacks of a wannabe Trickster eagerly following in the original’s deadly footsteps. The episode will reunite him with John Wesley Shipp who went up against him as the original ‘Flash’ on the CBS version.
