Free and Cool iOS Apps

We all use our smartphones on a daily basis. But, with over one million apps in the app store it can be hard to find the good ones. Also, I’m cheap and though $.99 is not much to pay for an app I will use daily, free is better. Here are some cool apps that are free as of today. THESE ARE LIMITED TIME SO DOWNLOAD AS SOON AS POSSIBLE otherwise you may be disappointed.

Timegg

TimeEgg Pro

Why should you care?

I’m not sure. But, I care because there are times when I need to set multiple countdowns at once (laundry, dinner, workout, etc) and this is a simple, sleek app with a good UI that makes it simple.

Reflex

Reflex

Why should you care?

Truthfully photo editing apps are a time-a-dozen. But Reflex has a good deal of decent filters and borders that might give you some new material to work with. Also you can export full-resolution versions of your photos to the camera roll instead of small versions which would be great for printing them later.

RoutDiary

RouteDiary

Why should you care?

There are a lot of apps that help you track your daily jogging, cycling, etc. RouteDiary does this but considers itself more of a journal of your adventures along with stats so you can track your fitness of long periods of time. Plus, it has a pretty nice interface.

Pinball

Marvel Pinball

Why should you care?

Honestly, you don’t need to. My wife loves pinball games, real ones, I love marvel and so Marvel Pinball by the well known Zen Studios was as obvious choice.

CrazyTaxi

Crazy Taxi City Rush

Why should you care?

Because Crazy Taxi was one of the best arcade games / gamecube games of my child hood! It has been re-worked for one touch controls and allows for customizable taxis in a brand new world. How cool is that?

I've been doing some form of ministry since 2000. For 13 years I was involved in the youth ministry at Cordova Neighborhood Church as everything from youth intern to youth pastor. God has led me and my lovely wife Bethany to Church of the Foothills where I currently reside as the Digital Publishing Coordinator. I'm excited to see where God leads my wife and I.
