Size of a Crisis

Last night a guy gave a testimony in church of how God carried him through the difficult times and some of the things he said really struck me. A while back his father became very ill with malaria, and his father was declared clinically dead for 2 days, with only machines keeping him alive. He started praying for his dad and his dad got completely healed. He said something really cool:

The size of any crisis or problem is proportional to the distance between your knees and the ground.

God wants us to trust in Him, that’s a lesson I had to learn, and that I?m still learning every day. That is to take the focus off my problems and off myself and focus totally on God. Nothing on earth is more important than Him. You have to trust the Word that He loves and cares for you. God is not a bully that pushes us around when He gets bored! He knows and wants the best for you!! (Matt 7:9-11)

Mat 18:19 "Furthermore, truly I tell you that if two of you agree on earth about anything you request, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven." That is how you solve a problem. The key to remember is P.U.S.H ” Pray Until Something Happens. (OK I realize that sounds a bit corny, but heck ” that’s how I remember it).

Sometimes in life things happen that we do not understand, like the death of a child, etc. People very quickly put the blame on God and hate Him for allowing something like that. But I ask a question that requires an honest answer: Did anyone sincerely pray for the child, I mean really pray; on your knees for the child to be protected by the blood of Jesus? Satan is the one who wants to destroy us (John 10:10). He loves it when he hurts us and we blame God. You have to realize that the Devil hates you with everything he’s got, and he’ll do his best to kill you.

Never give up ” put your focus and your trust wholly in God and just watch. God wants you to be free from the worry of problems. He says His yoke is soft and His burden is light (Matt 11:30). I believe with my whole heart that if you take the yoke of Christ your earthly problems will diminish. You will face challenges, but you will see what’s going to happen ” you will talk in faith of how God WILL bring the solution. God wants us to testify of His power and tell people how he will help us, even though the situation seems hopeless and the people around think we’re nuts.

Stay with your knees in the dirt until you have the solution.
